Patron.
Terms of ServiceThe short version. Patron is provided as-is for licensed service providers. You agree to obtain client consent before recording, to use the service lawfully, and to accept that during the pilot we're learning together and may change things quickly.
Patron is for licensed service providers — barbers, hairstylists, and similar professionals — using it in the course of their work. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to do business in your jurisdiction.
You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Don't share credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, email support@getpatron.ai and we'll help you secure it.
You are solely responsible for obtaining your clients' consent to record sessions. The app does not provide an in-app consent UI; consent is between you and your client per local law (verbal, signage, written, whatever applies in your jurisdiction).
By using the recording feature you confirm that you've obtained appropriate consent.
You agree not to:
Patron integrates with third-party services (Square, Google, Apple, Fireworks, OpenAI, Resend, and infrastructure providers). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their availability.
Patron is currently in pilot. That means:
If anything material changes, we'll let you know in the app.
We work hard to keep Patron available but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
You can stop using Patron and delete your account at any time by emailing support@getpatron.ai. We can suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to clients or our infrastructure.
On termination we'll delete your data within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
Patron is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim, to the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Patron is a tool to assist your work; it doesn't replace your professional judgment. The summaries and notes generated by Patron are derived from automated transcription and language models and may contain errors. You're responsible for reviewing them before acting on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patron's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the service will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these terms; if a change is material we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
